  • Delhi Park Lodge 5125 Foley Road Cincinnati, OH, 45238 United States (map)

BEFORE BROOKLYN, CINCINNATI

Dr. Don Heinrich Tolzmann will present his extensive research on German American engineer John A Roebling and his time in Covington building the innovative Suspension Bridge, the model for New York’s iconic Brooklyn Bridge.    Dr. T will also link Roebling to the family behind Roebling Road in Delhi.    Dr T is Cincinnati’s German-American ‘Lebensmensch.’ He is the Exec Director of Cincinnati’s German Heritage Museum, President of the German American Citizens League, and author of countless titles and translations of works into English. He has contributed  like none other to our understanding of our early Germanic immigrant ancestors in Cincinnati and the U.S. We are proud to welcome Dr. T for the second time this year to Delhi Historical Society’s amazing monthly programs.
